24 Peaks in 24 Hours

24 peaks mountain walk challenge eventAs far as mountain challenge events go the 24 Peaks is ‘the big one’!

Over two days successful teams will have covered some 44 kilometers (33 miles) and climbed a total height equal to half that of Mt Everest, all this within a combined time of 24 hours!

Taking in some of the country’s most breath taking scenery, your team will follow The Lake District’s best mountain ridge walks. The first day begins with Red Pike above the beautiful Buttermere valley and takes in the countries highest mountain Scafell Pike before, 10 peaks later, descending into the Langdale Valley. The start point for Day Two is the spectacular Kirkstone Pass. The route traverses all 14 major peaks of the Helvellyn range before dropping down, tired but proud, to a well earned rest and celebration.

Determination and team spirit are key ingredients for the successful completion of this exhilarating challenge. The result: an amazing sense of achievement and a challenge to be really proud of.
